While I was reading this article, I was redirected to a spurious "Update Adobe Flash" page.
- muglug 6y agoDitto. Those scammers really need to find a new target. Flash is so 2006.

- teknopaul 6y agohmm, who runs the ads on WordPress.com? Would that be Oracle's ad network?
- SAI_Peregrinus 6y agoI see people post about ads and I always wonder why it isn't common to consider ad blockers as the first line of defense against malware? Unlike antivirus they also actually make your system faster, since you don't have to use bandwidth & cpu downloading & running ads. You could selectively disable blocking of ads from networks you trust, or on sites you trust, if you want to see ads/support sites that don't have other monetization.
