I went around a very similar issue by doing it in reverse. Rather than pull via SSH I login to the remote interactive shell and dump the file onto my own serve

I went around a very similar issue by doing it in reverse. Rather than pull via SSH I login to the remote interactive shell and dump the file onto my own server via SSH from that remote shell.
