Hopefully Nintendo releases the SDK? It's been a decently active platform for indie titles and homebrew games. I'm not 100% sure, but I don't think the 3DS is covered by the same NDA as the Switch in terms of toolchain/docs/etc. I believe you can find those after signing up for a developer account at https://developer.nintendo.com/ https://developer.nintendo.com/

- toper-centage 6y agoThe 3ds has so much homebrew stuff right now. At this point Nintendo stopping to release updates is a relief.
- jhatemyjob 6y agoctrulib was pretty good when i used it in 2017
- phendrenad2 6y agoYes. Only thing it's missing is a high-level shader compiler, you have to write shader code in assembly (which honestly isn't too onerous for the graphical fidelity possible on the 3DS)
