That is your personal experience. Which is, of course, the whole point of using Google. You share everything in your life with them, and let them monetize your information any way they see fit, and in return they'll provide you with better search results. I haven't used Google as my main search engine, or email provider, or anything else in ages. I'll take DDG search results over Google any day.
