If the difference in performance of CAS vs TLS is a concern, you're likely better off using a thread per cpu and using 10,000 fibers with carefully managed stack sizes which doubly reduces that memory concern.
- terrelln 6y agoThat’s true. But, I can’t tell all applications that use the counter library to reduce the number of threads they use.
