I'm confused and haven't found an answer in the comments yet -- he won't release the audiobook on Amazon because of DRM -- but he is releasing the ebook on Amazon? Isn't that also DRM? Is he just picking his battles one by one? Or is somehow the Amazon ebook DRM acceptable whereas the audio isn't? (Genuinely curious...)

You can sell DRM free ebooks on Amazon.
