Not that long ago, I read a news story about a homeless guy. He used to be a pro baseball player.
So, I guess maybe my parents didn't know a lot of homeless people because they didn't play pro sports...
Which is to say, there's something odd about the way you see the world, or the way I do. One or the other.

- perl4ever 6y agoI don't even know what it means to "force a false dichotomy". Obviously nobody, least of all me, believes that all homeless people are millionaires or baseball players. The point is, most homeless people, in general, have family, relatives who are "normal" people, who may have any sort of profession or economic class.
