How about all the other laws? Wearing seat belt? Why can't we drink/use drugs and drive?
If anything masks should be welcome by conspiracy theorists, as those hide your face from cameras and AI in public.
- aceman22 6y agoHow about forcing mom and pops to close while huge multinationals are allowed to stay open and eat up their market share? It's borderline fascist.
- not_kurt_godel 6y agoYou know, I agree with this in the sense that Trump, a fascist, let it happen the way it did out of pure reckless negligence and very possibly active malice. It is indeed pretty fascist to knowingly let a deadly virus rip through the nation unimpeded with all the ill consequences it entails, including economic distortions that disproportionately hurt small players. (Too political for HN? Guess we'll see.)
- lurker345 6y agoI'm not really talking about masks, wear whatever you want, as long as it's your choice.
