Highly disagree. Having support for “python” is good, but useless without support for the ecosystem (poetry, pipenv, requirements.txt, virtualenvs, pytest, a REPL, Django-specific stuff, etc). Languages are important, but I wouldn’t say they are ahead by a large degree.
