but is the whole point of autonomous driving is so you can be doing other things while the car is driving itself??? cause, you know, if you have to pay attention, then technically your driving. not for nothing but they are blaming the wrong person and it upsets me that they are charging them in the first place. i love how the company is not at fault yet the employee now has to pay the price. it sickens me how our justice system works. most of the time people get charged specifically cause the da wants to make a name for themselves and i see it with this case. btw... uber better have their entire legal team helping this person out, cause this could REALLY set a president to the point where it could kill this technology. imagine if self-driving cars really do become a thing and this happened to you. personally i think the biggest mistake we made as a society is putting too many automated feature in vehicles. drivers are becoming way too laxed and dependent rather than alert.
