I used to work at this place where I had to apply thermal transfer to a solution of sodium chloride in dihydrogen oxide, wherein I submerged a quantity of helicoids made out of polymeric carbohydrate, increasing their ductility by several magnitudes. It was a highly proprietary process, but I later found out that everybody was doing it this way.
