Publicly shaming people charged with a crime is SOP. Even if they're cleared you've got Google preserving mug shots and newspaper articles for years. Granted, I think it qualifies as "news," but I've always thought it was handled poorly by all involved and largely makes "innocent until proven guilty" irrelevant in practice.
