I see that, unlike the US, Ethiopia has yet to learn how to draw strength from their diversity. A lesson the Balkans likewise failed to learn before their run in with ethnic cleansing and, later, splitting into separate countries.
- AnimalMuppet 6y agoI'm not sure whether that was sarcasm, but the US isn't doing great at drawing strength from diversity either at the moment. (It may still be doing better than Ethiopia, but the US is not a shining example of how to do it, at least right now.)
