Objective-C has been of the worst language I ever had to use. Fortunately it is still possible to use good old C/C++ on iOS/macOS. As a general rule, I don't like the way Apple wants to drag people into their walled garden, with a tech stack that will be mostly useless outside of it. Swift is like Objective-C of Metal, we can discuss their respective merits, but it will never hide the fact that they are all bad cases of the infamous NIH syndrome.
