I'm honestly surprised Paypal is still in business. Everybody hates Paypal.

  The power of network effect. You can't afford to not accept PayPal because all the buyers have it, and all the buyers have it because you can pay with it everywhere. An alternative network would have a hard time getting users to sign up.
