This doesn’t address your question, but: don’t be afraid to push back during an interview. Too often, interviewers get away with questions that have no relevance to that particular role. Also, it’s ok to turn down an interview request if it doesn’t meet your criteria. This can be hard especially if one isn’t employed currently, but it is better to set your expectations beforehand, rather than waste hours/days.
