I haven’t interviewed at Tesla, but I like the question they ask on their recruiting web site. Might not be an exact quote but they ask “what have you done?” and they make it clear they are looking for evidence of something outstanding, whether it be effective effort, creativity, or some impressive application of useful skills/drive/etc.
