- buzzerbetrayed 6y agoI wouldn't mind paying $100 for an iPhone either. Unfortunately, you and I don't get to set the prices on the products we buy. And if you don't find the price reasonable, don't buy the product. Apple has no obligation to let you reach all of its customers just because they are successful.
- Qahlel 6y agoiPhones are not free. There are paid apps. Apple does not allow others to have a store in their platform, so why doesn't Apple pay extra tax to keep others out rather than taxing devs to be in Apple's store?
- Terretta 6y ago3%? What percentage do you think it costs simply to process the credit card for a $10 app? What about for a $1 app? Why do you think so many bricks and mortar shops have a “minimum purchase” requirement to pay with a card? If the swipe costs 3%, what should all the rest of the app store’s value cost? You could compare to competitors, such as Xbox store, for an answer.
