I have 0 in the last 14 days on port 2xxx. Probably depends a lot on your IP range (I'd assume AWS etc is scanned more thoroughly) and whether you've happened to hit a port used by another service. But even in commercial ranges, I've seen hardly any hits on >10k. But I have only anecdotal evidence as well, so my guess is as good as yours.
