I had a quick look at Zola sometime ago while looking for alternatives to Hugo (which is written in Go, but is also distributed as a single binary). But it seemed like Zola had fewer themes available. As a non-designer, having great themes available (for free, preferably) would be a good starting point.
- asicsp 6y agoI wondered why you say _fewer_ themes for Zola, there were so many to choose from and I had a hard time to decide (and I might still change it in future). I just checked for Hugo, and it certainly has so many more compared to Zola. Something to keep in mind for future, but I am more than satisfied with Zola for now.
