Secondly, just because one plant takes a decade to build, that does NOT mean we can't build 100 plants in a decade. Again, your argument does not make any sense. If we had started 20 years ago, we very well could be stamping out SMRs by the hundreds, today. Finally, granting the urgency you claim, there is no evidence to suggest replacing fossil fuel based generation with renewable is going to be quicker than nuclear. To frame it as such is misleading.
