We built 16MB ESP8266 dev board for internal use then made it open source
- malouf-erfan 6y agowe are a bedding / furniture company, but every team gets to work on awesome projects if they can sell it to management, my team is in charge of fulfillment ( software / hardware ), we purchased two warehouses with conveyor systems but I wanted to read the shipping labels data directly off of the overhead scanners instead of paying conveyor company for costly integrations, so we built this dev board (see RS232 chip) to interface with Axiom scanners. we ended up using this for many other cool projects in the company in the past year. Now it is available to purchase to anyone and we made it fully open source, schematics are on Github, PCB files to be added really soon...
- justinclift 6y agoHow feasible is it to make the GitHub link a bit more prominent? Didn't realise there was one until reading your comment, then had to manually search the page (Ctrl-F for "github") to find it in the footer. ;)
- malouf-erfan 6y agogood Idea, I will add a gitGub ribbon to the site at top, or maybe something nicer, I have to ask our designer to see what she thinks
