I live in Florida and I'm surprised we aren't number 1 on the list. My wife and I have been talking about moving to another state in the future. Our state government's response to the Coronavirus has made it clear where priorities lie. Governor Ron Desantis (now affectionately called Ron DeathSentence) has shown himself to be a Trump lapdog, and the amount of Trump supporters in my county is disheartening. Low taxes are nice if you are retired, but along with low taxes comes little funding for schools, public infrastructure, a social safety net, etc.
