one can convey charisma through digital/remote channels.
Just because the physical connection is gone, it does not mean a robotic / formulaic approach is now the only way to lead/manage humans
- JoeAltmaier 6y agoIt reduces the effect. It becomes possible to squelch the loudmouth, take turns talking, hear from everyone. It removes physical intimidation and most body language. Nobody is suggesting 'robotic' or 'formulaic'.
- xauronx 6y agoIn my experience the "loudmouth" in-person is the same way on a video call. They always get their two cents in, and are sure to jump in regardless of whether or not another person is patiently waiting their turn.
