I have the option of any laptop I want at my job and I picked a nice windows laptop over a MacBook Pro and regularly get made fun of for it - whatever, could care less. I’m not saying you’re wrong, but choosing tech for fashion doesn’t describe me at all. I actually quite dislike much of modern apple and their practices and wish I could do everything that I want with my hardware. My problem is that Apple’s mobile silicon is better (for me) than anything I can get running android. The A13 alone keeps me buying Apple mobile hardware, there’s no real competition at the high end for performance.
