how does bikeshedding apply to this situation?
my understanding of the term is getting caught up in minute details instead of the main work, such as arguing over the color of a bike shed before the foundation of the house is laid
- hammock 6y agoMaybe I'm appropriating the term. Flux is a bikeshed in the sense that it's not anything groundbreaking or complicated or significant (ducks) yet everyone feels the need to weigh in on it when given the chance. What I mean is, flux opinions are like assholes. Or to reference the xkcd comic below, for every lucky 10,000 there are 10,000 people who will gladly share their story with you.
