I can't help but wonder how much of this is coming from Unreal Engine. Epic has been using its Fortnihe money to buy up markets, and after the Mandalorian, people are starting to look at UE much more seriously in the media industry. And with the Twinmotion acquisition, Epic is slowly creeping its way into architecture as well. Their marketplace is exploding and, anecdotally, there are lots of new adopters.
