I agree with your assessment about how social distancing is in some ways worse for singles, but I fail to see how time off would help.
- johnjj257 6y agoI'm sure to many being isolated and working non stop is worse than being isolated and having more free time.
- jartelt 6y agoTime off would allow people to relax, work on a hobby, exercise, etc. If you are feeling run down after working from a crappy, crammed apartment for 3 months, it can be refreshing to get an extra week or so off work with no questions asked.
- hvidgaard 6y agoBeing single, you have time for all that in a normal week anyway. And if you don't you wouldn't have had the time for social interaction in the first place.
