He’s pointing out that the article has political undertones. If it were purely about the virus, kamala harris, or any politician for that matter, wouldn't have even been mentioned
- snowwrestler 6y agoOf course it has political undertones; the only reason these companies felt compelled to issue this statement was to counter the widely-spread fear that the sitting president of the U.S. would attempt to corrupt the standard vaccine process to his political benefit.
- blackflame7000 6y agoAnd what basis do you have to believe such treasonous claims? CNN told you so? What motivation could they possibly have? Oh yeah, to get you to vote democrat. Don’t be naive.
- landryraccoon 6y agoCool your jets man. If you are an American you should be aware that criticizing the President is patriotic, not treasonous. It was patriotic to criticize Obama, just as it is patriotic to criticize the current president.
- blackflame7000 6y agoThe entire arguments of the left can be summarized as Orange Man Bad despite having no new wars, record 401ks, tax breaks for the middle class (I got one), the first president to openly support gay marriage upon taking office. (none of that obama 6 year in change of mind bullshit because midterms are over), Passed the first step act that freed people incacerated by Joe Biden's crime bill, etc. The reason why the democrats are going to lose in November is because they cried wolf too many times. Charlottesville is a perfect example. Anyone who listen to the full transcript can tell clear as day what Trump said vs what people tried to allege. The mocking of the crippled guy was another one. You can tell the left is panicking too. They are shutting down comments, censoring ideas, intimidating naysayers, and basically devolving into the fascists they say they hate. Don't believe me? I'll pay you $1000 to wear a BLM hat to a Trump rally, and a MAGA hat to a BLM rally and you tell me which one was more accepting.
- landryraccoon 6y agoI realize you're probably a troll who's pushing a political agenda, but what you're saying simply doesn't square with the facts. It isn't true. There's no question that a person wearing a BLM hat to a Trump rally would be at least kicked out, if not in danger of physical violence. Trump himself has incited violence against his opponents at his own rallies. Here's him saying it in his own words: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iCLvJE26wGY https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iCLvJE26wGY Here's an example of him retaliating against a reporter just for trying to attend one of his rallies: https://www.vice.com/en_us/article/akzp34/the-trump-campaign-tracked-a-reporter-from-her-tweets-and-kicked-her-out-of-a-rally https://www.vice.com/en_us/article/akzp34/the-trump-campaign...
- blackflame7000 6y agoNo honestly I’m just someone who’s sick of watching everyone be called a nazi all the time because they dare to think from a different perspective. Call me a Russian troll if it makes you feel better. Ignore the irony of being racist towards every russian citizen, and continue to preach about how this time, on his 48th year, Joe Biden will get it right. You’ve been lead to believe I’m a hateful and bad person representing a hateful group of ruthless republicans. The fact is that you’ve been lied to because if you feel morally justified in your actions then the means become irrelevant. Hypocrisy defines the left but they do a masterful job of controlling the narrative via the 4am talking points. You seem like a smart person so just try for one second to look at the world from the perspective that we are in the beginning of a cold war with China. Imagine for a moment that the CCP is a ruthless organization that oppresses literally a billion people. Everything Trump has been saying isn’t a lie anymore. If you build up a false flag narrative to point the finger at Russia then it gives you cover. Its a reasonable strategy to me and im sure the CCP has thought the same thing
- snowwrestler 6y ago> In a recent STAT-Harris survey, 82% of Democrats and 72% of Republicans expressed concern that the Covid-19 vaccine approval process would be driven more by politics than by science. More than 80% of independents, Republicans, and Democrats said they would worry about the safety of a vaccine that was approved quickly. That's from this article, but it is broadly in line with other recent polls. Most Democrats and most Republicans are concerned about this administration rushing a vaccine. The president has not helped matters by stating that he thinks a vaccine could be ready before the election, and by publicly attacking the FDA for supposedly trying to prevent that.
- smt88 6y agoIn the US, public health is politicized. It's absolutely reasonable to discuss the public health doctrine of the current administration and/or a possible future one.
