This is heavy. On the one hand I can hardly disagree with most of the points in the article. On the other, I'd like to have a more positive outlook in life than "corporatism is eating our souls". I might not have a glimpse of solution (the article doesn't point any out, either) but I must agree that actively barring spirituality from seeping into workplaces is necessary. We might have to act proactively as employees on this one - say no to cult-forming exercises in your job. I mean to the level of _let them know you will quit_ if management pushes this. I'm worried most people out of tech will have no choice, though. The general job market does not look good.
