Calling them 'consumers' rather than 'people' seems like a use of dehumanizing language to assuage your guilt. At least, that's how it comes across to me. When you accept a bribe for a review you're screwing over the living breathing human beings who might make the mistake of assuming you aren't a liar.
- BlueScreenDeath 6y agoWait, I was supposed to be being honest in my reviews online. Usually (if I ever leave one) my reviews are for places or products I subjectively hated. I hated the fact a jump park wouldn't let me jump with my 2 year old after buy admission for her, so I left a bad review. If they offered me money I'd be happy to take it down because then I wouldn't be pissed anymore. It has nothing to do with helping other people.
