- phobosanomaly 6y agoAre there any interesting software projects coming out of Pakistan that you are excited about, but maybe outsiders may not be so familiar with?
- erklik 6y agoI am not OP but similar area. There's quite a few startups. These days is good as there is a fair bit of interest in funding projects. A few that come to mind that have recently raised funding are Airlift (Ride sharing but more mass transit based), Tello Talk(localized mobile messaging), Eat Mubarak(Food Delivery), PriceOye(online ecommerce), Marham(telehealth), Bykea(main is Rideshare but bikes since traffic cannot stop bikes).
- rvense 6y agoEat Mubarak is a pretty good pun. (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Eid_Mubarak https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Eid_Mubarak)
- baybal2 6y agoMostly manufacturing. Pakistan, despite its poverty, is a gigantic market. And endless human resources to man assembly lines.
- amingilani 6y agoHey, if you're looking to find some and don't mind going through incubators and coworking communities, I could refer you to those in my network.
- arbhassan 6y agoHey Amin! It's nice to find you here. We exchanged a few emails about a year ago. I was looking for some advice. Thanks man! :)
- amingilani 6y agoHey Arbab, I do, glad to run into you again :)
