I'd been happy with KDE Neon for a while, but since the upgrade to the Ubuntu 20.04 base, snap became so annoying that I switched all of my machines to openSUSE. Snap is an endless source of frustration. Unless you jump through a bunch of hoops, apps can't access network mounts, you have the obligatory ~/snap folder, startup times are atrocious, and I'm seeing a number of weird glitches especially in Chromium. Flatpak is marginally better, but has a lot of similar issues.
