So, anybody know if they're pursuing a patent on this tech? A quick Google Patent search didn't turn up any US results. I ask because this language from the paper sounded patent-y: "In a more involved version of the construction, elements from higher levels are sampled..." Reads like "in one embodiment of the invention, ..."
