Almost everything about Apple is driven by style instead of substance. That's one of the reasons why Apple is so successful - people are shallow.
- read_if_gay_ 6y agoSaying people are shallow is probably not wrong per se, but maybe a somewhat pessimist perspective. For example, you could also conclude that beautifully made products are simply more fun to use.
- doctor_eval 6y agoStyle is a part of the substance of an object; the two are not in conflict. Apple is simply one of the few companies that cares about style enough to make sacrifices in order to achieve it. And that's something I really like about Apple gear.
