There’s stuff that has to get done, and you have to work together to get it done. And like marriage, moving on can be tricky. Trickier is befriending higher-ups. Keeping confidences is important when you know before your boss does. I’m still friends with 2 of the 3 former bosses, so it is possible to maintain a relationship.
