- gmadsen 6y agowouldn't it be more straight forward to just look at revenue. The weird Hollywood accounting doesn't really matter to the question of 'does piracy significantly affect purchases?.'
- walrus01 6y agoHollywood accounting reminds me of condominium developers and property developers that form a shell LLC for a single project, so that if something goes terribly wrong with the build quality and new-property-warranty lawsuits and such, the entity created for the project has no assets to give up when sued.
