One of the most common reason to be denied an ESTA of a Visa to the United States is because of a criminal conviction or a criminal charge in your home country. I'm not saying this is the case here, but that is one of the most common reasons.
Then again, it might be just because he's a "hacker".
- Havoc 6y agoGiven that his ESTA application previously succeeded a criminal charge seems unlikely here.
- tmn007 6y agoMost countries don't give the USA carte blanche access to their citizens criminal history unless it is in their interests to declare (I base this on observations of people who have past criminal convictions yet still get ESTA approvals and travel to the USA). However, the USA may have become aware of something that they previously were not aware of.
