Did you use a vacuum pump for the refrigerant lines? If air is still inside the lines, the unit will not last as long - the problem is the trapped moisture that can damage the pump in the long run.
- lxe 6y agoYup. The pump is cheap on amazon and there's youtube videos a-plenty. The mini split AC's come with the refrigerant charge stored in it, so it's crucial to get it properly connected and vaccumed the first time.
