Naming these two medical conditions "Depression" and "Anxiety" is pretty unfortunate. They are completely different from"feeling depressed" and "feeling anxious". Having depression or anxiety in the medical sense will not cause you to do anything about any problem, because they are debilitating. They reflect long-term changes to your brain chemistry that may or may not respond to medication - transiently feeling anxious or depressed is not that.
