- Clubber 6y agoThis is absolutely correct. In fact, most of their master price list is artificially inflated as a negotiating point with insurance companies. If you are unable to negotiate before your care, you get the hospital's mater price list price. The worst part is most medical care is inelastic, meaning you don't really get to pick and choose, like in an emergency.
