- beardedwizard 6y agoIf there was proof it would be a different thread, but "don't paste credentials into websites you don't control" seems like great advice for life.
- Spivak 6y agoAnd if the app really is completely local to your browser like it says then make a copy and run it locally or on an internal web server for your whole team. Boom. No more "malicious updates" problem.
- quercusa 6y agoNot everything can be proven until it's too late; at some point experience and informed intuition need to be part of the risk evaluation.
