Conversely - if you're going to Facebook or NewsCorp to seek factual (or at least sensibly balanced) information, you've effectively given up in either case. It was only about 3 years ago that I found out lots of people rely on Facebook for their 'news', which puts me in a bubble of some sort, but it's still a bewildering state of affairs.
