I would guess clicks are a factor
- Raed667 6y agoHow would HN without JS or a URL minifier/redirector know about clicks?

- blisseyGo 6y agoNot sure about this particular post but for HN, every action is a HTTP GET request to HN (except when you click on the post's website link itself). So the GET request is pretty much the same as the click on HN. This is just my guess though.
