Personally I think [] is genius. I don’t use typing in Python, but when I saw it done there I was delighted. If my_array[idx], why not list[int]? Not to mention

Personally I think [] is genius. I don’t use typing in Python, but when I saw it done there I was delighted. If my_array[idx], why not list[int]? Not to mention the ease with which it can be implemented, overridden, etc
