I think this is fairly simple answer to this question, but yes, I think it'll always be subjective. Every language has trade offs, they prioritize certain features over others. This is naturally going to make some languages better than others for particular tasks. Sorry, really basic answer here but I'm definitely curious what others think on this as well. Perhaps the above is my pessimist view on it :)
