People in the valley have this weird notion that what is happening in the valley is happening everywhere. It's not. Most people go to mediocre state schools with a little bit of debt when they graduate, and then live in that area for the rest of their life. Most people don't go to Stanford, Harvard, Yale or Princeton and rack up $80k+ in student loans. The real bubble is groupthink.
