Not all parents did. A couple of kids at school were really into them. I wonder how they turned out.
- samatman 6y agoProbably just fine. My mother hated toy guns; my father insisted we be allowed to play with Nerf. Friends of the family weren't allowed toy guns at all, but the mother finally gave up: one morning, she saw her sons chew toast into the shape of pistols and chase each other around the table shouting "pew! pew!"
