My guess is parent lived in another country bordering to Austria. Italy? Hungary?
- kgwgk 6y agoAh, that makes sense. I thought it was Austrian + regional/city (and assumed he was a foreigner living temporarily in Austria), but it probably is Austrian + <home country> (could also be Slovenia, Slovakia, Czech Republic; or Yugoslavia and Czechoslovakia depending on the epoch).
