Like many others, I agree with summer time year-round; but oppose staying on wintertime year-round. This is a trade-off between time at work/school versus free time, socialization time, outdoor leisure activities, etc., and how the two categories split the limited resource of daylight.
- Ericson2314 6y agoWhat if we did winter time but switched to 8-4 workday? :O :O :O Once we stop switching, the numbers are arbitrary.

- coronadisaster 6y agoEvery one who agrees
- geofft 6y agoWhat if we did winter time but switched to a 1-5 workday? The 9-5 schedule came from an era when roughly half as many people (per capita) were in the workforce. :)
- Ericson2314 6y agoHahaha, easy there, can't propose too many good idea at once or the argumentative experiment looses it's controls. :)
- bonzini 6y agoWhere I live, winter time year round means the sun has risen at 4.30 in the summer (and not being able to have dinner without artificial illumination). Summer time year round means total darkness until 8.30 in the winter. Either way it sucks. There are places where DST is indeed the best of both worlds.
